Now, she is pivotal in overseeing both the performance and wellbeing of the staff in the department. With 20 direct reports, Nicola thrives on building trusting relationships and managing the diverse needs of her team, affirming that no two days are ever the same.
Starting her career as an impact claims handler, Nicola brings firsthand experience to her leadership role. She combines her competitive spirit with a passion for team engagement through various building activities. Nicola describes her career path as “weird and wonderful,” paralleled by her 27 years of experience in dance, spanning ballet, tap, modern, and street styles. Initially driven towards a career in dance, she found a way to merge her love for helping and guiding others into a long-lasting career in insurance at Claims Consortium Group.
